After that we took a little trip and we could try their sport. They were really helpful and for us it was an amazing experience. In the evening we ate at a restaurant called Il Padrino. The Italians tried Hungarian pizza and pálinka. They said both was really good.

The next day we had a trip to Budapest by train. We visited Heroes' Square walked to the Castle of Vajdahunyad. We walked to the Parlament along Andrássy Avenue. Our guests bought souvenirs on the way. We had lunch near the Parlament and after we had a guided tour inside of the building. It was really breathtaking for all of the students. We went to the train station by underground and headed back home. My parents picked us up at the station of Eger and we went to the Stühmer confectionery. Emma bought some szaloncukor and traditional chocolate to take home and we bought some cakes as well. At home we were talking with my parents about Italian and Hungarian things. It was a really long and memorable day.

WEDNESDAY:

We arrived at school at 9 a.m. and started cooking Gulyás in the school kitchen. The students from Spain who stayed here for one month helped us with our task. We were having the best time and the soup turned out really tasty. It was our lunch that day and we were really happy about it. After, we went to the sport center in the Archbishop Garden and watched a handball match where Gábor Barta’s son was participating. When we finished with the match we went to the Thermal Bath of Eger. We had a really good time there in the afternoon. At night we went for dinner to the Macok Bistró with Rebeka’s family and with Emma. They tried Hungarian dishes in a modern way. For dressert they had Túrógombóc and Rákóczi túrós. They said everything was delicious and we talked and laughed a lot. We were happy to spend quality time with good people at a good place.
